I'm pretty much in agreement with what most people seem to be saying. The game has huge potential. I give it 4/5 until those are fixed. But the one thing that I would really like to see the most would be the equipment. I can kind of get who might use what, but it's not the best explanation.
Nevermind. Just got it. Awesome game. I agree it could use badges. I like the method I found to do it. Once I got through lvl 40, I went back and it clicked. Glad you added to it. These games are so much better with extra content.
Incredibly frustrating. Extremely infuriating. And once finished, completely satisfying. I had the hardest time starting out. If you don't care about the 'no death' part of it, and had problems doing it like I did and had to break and come back because you were about to throw your monitor out your window.... just plant until you get enough for premium seeds, work up to being able to buy a legacy upgrade asap and don't focus on feeding the ogre. Do this every time before death, and keep getting more gold as the upgrades flow, until you can afford the6k before the timer runs out. It was the only way I had the patience to finish this lol.
I'm sorry, I guess? xD Well, it maddened you, and yet you came back for more. Means you liked it in the end, and I'm glad for that! Thanks for leaving your strategy here!
A great idea (imo) would be implement a farm mode for bosses you don't need to actively cast on anymore so you can grind away. Obviously this would be more for coin purposes instead of xp, at least in my head.
Is there some kind of formula and/or amount of something you should have for the amount of gems you get on ascending? I checked in one play through, and it said I'd get 21.... checked back a bit later on the same play through and it said I would get 3 instead if I ascended.
Hi, I don't quite understand. Gems always drop on the first playthrough, and always drop when you beat a boss of that level for the first time. So it is normal if you are getting more gems on the first playthrough. When you ascend, the number of enchanted gems you gain is equivalent to the number of gems you own.
Initially gave the game a 4/5, cause I really did like it. The moment I saw ascension and that you can upgrade idle things, 5/5. I grow tired of click-click-click being the only way games HAVE to be done lately, or so it seems.
I know! We should have held off on launch until we had those auto clickers in but we needed to test it to learn what players thought. This is really helping us understand out game better, thanks for letting us know!
If there is another way implemented than having to click click clickity click my finger off, I'll play this quite a bit for the time I spend on Kongregate. Higher rating, too.
Maybe I just don't have the right items, but no other items match the picture on the screen. I have the skull staff tier 4 and the rod of doom tier 4 and 600 topaz shards. Can't buy the skull staff of doom.
Other people have already commented on this:
Going at 2x speed makes you take in less money. I waited until I was getting a good amount and tested it. 1x speed = 12k a day in profit. 2x speed = 6k a day in profit.
Missiles seem to have a 50 - 75% chance to do a loop de loop before moving towards an enemy. Please make them not need to do this and go straight for enemies.
Definitely too short! But very awesome! I would have to agree aside from that, the only thing I can think of so far is add other input methods. Keyboard preferable.
