I think this is a great concept and well-executed. I could see this system being easily modified to encompass a game of larger scope in a Metroidvania sort of sense. Overall I felt that this game was simple, effective and fun. Good job.
Slight bug to note real quick. If you're at the end of a section and you don't click the "next" arrow then you will have to beat that level again to unlock the next area.
Broke the game on level 12. Hit the electricity switch, threw 3 grenades through the funnel and then the screen shifted up and to the right and the last bad guy fell through the floor and the final switch greyed out.
I really enjoyed this game. I kept being reminded of rubber bands when I'd wrap the strands around the pegs. Very cool idea, great execution and a music loop that I couldn't manage to get annoyed with.
Flatland is a great story and this is a fun game. I wish it went more into the dimensionality aspect more. The novella is called Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions by Edwin Abbot Abbot and it gets really far into dimension thought from one dimension to 3 dimensions and beyond. Very cool story. It was made into an animated movie called Flatland: The Movie that I'd highly recommend. It's delightfully quirky with an odd sense of humor.
In my humble opinion lava burst sound OP at first, but it loose his charm soon against strong enemies, plus it drains a lot of mana.
