You need to add a check of where the player is when the ball respawn location, you immediately lose. You should slow down the speed, feels frantic, you should increase the size of the area(or decrease the size of the objects), make it easy to start, but after some time add another ball so you're dealing with two, then three, etc.
This is a very solid game. Would love a longer one. There is a bug I noticed though, if you get the extra crispy ending, and then you play again, if you put the fire too close to him, he immediately burns up, there is no ramp up time.
For anyone having trouble getting the red speed achieve, use the small/fast hull with full speed upgrade. While it isn't as durable, it won't matter as much as your run only needs to last 30 seconds
The memory and lag are too bad, because overall I enjoyed this game aside from those. While you could pay to get ahead, least for the part to get the badge, it seemed totally doable without it if you so choose.
To add in difficulty, start making sections where you can't see if the wire is on or off, so you have to follow the circuit and really think it through and understand it to get it, as opposed to just click and watch the changes. Could start off with just small sections blocked, and final levels are entirely blocked off.
You should add a little more challenege in the non boss levels. When I barely kill a boss with active clicking, I shouldn't be able to kill the next 9 levels without a single upgrade and no user interaction, just to grind on that 9th level for a while to get enough upgrades to kill the boss.
The inn could be more useful if it allowed a slight boost in something(coin generation, attack speed, etc.) upon moving between zones. This coudl work both as a way of giving another bonus when gold farming(E.g. more worthwhile to shift zones every once in a while) and it coudl make bosses a little easier at first, but couldn't be used to abuse bosses. Another option is to have the inn give an awar each time you first clear an area, such as gold or gems.
Upon death, if on that level you bought somethign with black coins, you don't get the coins back from the save(EG I had 100~ black coins, spent 75 on a weapon, got 10, died, and when I came back I didn't have my weapon i bought, but my coins were only at 37)
@Balbanes That is what Poseidon and Phoenix are for. They make it not as insane as it first seems. You are allowed to die 3 times, more if any of them are over the ocean.
@Icklem I can't see any reason why you'd need to turn off upgrades for any of the achieves except possibly reducing your collection size for Beourgeois, and that is nice, but not required.
Needs an auto save, clicked main menu when I was trying to reset last level(I knew I lost, didn't want to wait for it to happen) and I lost EVERYTHING.
For the decimal problem just do a check before showing
if((int)coinValue+0.9 < coinValue && (int)coinValue +1 > coinValue)
Display((int)coinValue + 1);
else
Display((int)coinValue);
