I swear I've heard music used in this game in an old title from 1997, Lords of Magic released by Sierra. Just an inspiration or a full rip off? Cause its SO SIMILAR. Can't find the old CD but I swear its identical...
"- The floorskipper logic now checks three floors higher for “being to easy”" - why not check & skip floor by floor instead of bulk? Also - skip UP TO X floors (not fixed ammount) while its "to easy".
Followup due to character limit:
1) Ratio between stat upgrades costs and effects is changes to fast.
2) Exp required to level up increases to slow in comparision to that. Chaning it without rebalance of pt. 1 would be a suicide though.
3) Game lacks medicore tasks in between big gaps that diverge players attention from vast ammounts of time needed to progress. Those tasks should also slighly boost the progress rate to be rewarding (for example: a task/upgrade that can be interacted with quite often because of how slow the costs increase but it also has only a very minor effect on progress speed on top of the "big upgrades").
Stat upgrades effects are linear. Costs increse at significant rate.
Level up exp requirement increases way slower and level has direct effect on party stats. Exp gains increase very fast per level.
Thus: after buying first few stat ups, leveling up over time gives more profit than claiming prestige pts.
Its easier to double your lvl to beat higher floors (~double exp gains) than to double prestige stats boost effects with same effect.
Thus - prestige stat ups past few first ones reward player LESS than simply waiting and lvling up. All prestige layers becomes pointless after few upgrades while next layer is still far away.
Its often better to just let the game run over night (or few) and wait for few first points in next prestige layer than to prestige few times in your current max layer - this would actually SLOW DOWN progress.
IMO - bad game design. Optimal solution being... not interacting with game for days. The further you progress the longer you shouldn't interact.
@Darkcreatures
Not sure how, but... no. I still managed to progress (quite fast at that) past floor 43,500. Not sure if thats because NaNeNaN bugged my attack as well or if its just display error and numbers work correctly under the hood (I expect the latter).
Critical flaw: When you "next" out of tutorial - its fine. But if you then want to re-read it and "back" entire way you can "overback" and close help permanently :p
BUG: Use potions, wait them out, save, main menu, load game - potions are back up. Potions cooldown does not save with game and is refreshed every time you load game.
Easy way to take down agents? DONT chose "dash pushback", take only "dash stun", make agents stand in a group, dash them all the time so they are stuned while you kill them with Anti-Freezer. Sooo easy. Oh, dont forget about reloading (if you got gadget) and Anti-Bulet field seems to woprk nice with this strategy also.

' Whenever I play this game, it always ends with me saying, "Screw it, I'm building a catapult." '
Caterpillars are better ; o
I can see a bug here. You can easily "cheat" by pulling up a piece, spressing space and then putting it back on the top of the new placed one. BUT. You can't do it when piece you're trying to take has no other room to be taken to. Its buggy. The first "cheat" should be disabled (allow to put new one only when none is up) or allow us to take up ANY piece (even if there is no other room for it). I've just lost at 95k cause of that xd
A - autopilot # 3 - triple score # S - slow motion # D - double paddle (wider) # lets find out more # Autopilot helps a lot later. So bad its so rare ._.
It already does both of these things
