I long to see a flower pure
Surrounded in a world of joy
For every flower dearly holds
A place in every girl and boy

I got a letter of importance
I bought a frame for the envelope
For everything that is important
Is sealed in a spring of hope

If you feel hopeless or without use
Do not feel downed and without strife
For every tapeworm has its place
In my forsaken bowl of life

Life is filled with ups and downs
Curved lines that do not stop
It’s easy to slip down the dale
I shall return to the mountain top
