I managed to get 2048 on the original game. There's some luck involved when it comes to the exact spot the next square appears at. FemmeFatale's tip is the same as mine except I put my highest numbered square on the top left corner with the following higher numbers going down the row. As long as that square doesn't get shifted right, you should be able to hit 2048 easily.
I got married to a girl with a really great personality and was very attractive... She dies in the next scenario in a car accident. Why did I spend $5k on a ring if that was going to happen? ;_;
