Only giving 3 stars. Beautiful game but the music isn't syncing with the notes on screen, I also thought that holding the keyboard upside down was an awesome idea for UI, however it seems like you've made quite a few of these so i have to take another star since it's not very original (anymore)
However it is still completely awesome!!! (Googling a christmas rock DLC for rock-band now)

The pure lack of instruction is actually one of my favorite parts of this game. It lets me just play it how i want to. I'd actually enjoy a full-fledged 3D implementation of this, where it's an open world and i can just explore and play with the pretty lights and maybe a little bit of MMO where you upgrade your character and you can race your pals.
