@LEIFG66 yea, its basically guaranteed crit strikes every hit: lots of wounds, lots of dmg and pretty much the only way to deal with high level haunted armors in the campaign, unfortunately it's other stats kinda suck, so it's really only useful when you're decently overleveled. also, do you guys know whats the best campaign map for farming? (i mean like, which gives the highest base idle BP?).
ok so: each gear has its own playstyle and familiarity tree (and spoilers):
short sword: wound racker (hit and atkspd).
arming sword: staller blade (hit, def and deflect).
side sword: odd one out (hit and... crit? of all things?; reduces enemy deflect).
long sword: peer pressuring (full atk, dmg and impact).
claymore: low hp nuker (BEEG dmg and a bit of atk).
buckler: average (def, hit and deflect).
targe: staller shield (extra stamina, def and a decreased stamina usage when blocking).
heater shield: tank shield (lots of def, and a bit of hp).
cloth: energetic armor (stamina, dodge and less stamina usage when dodging).
leather: staller armor (stamina and hit; the stamina reduction goes for taking dmg).
chain mail: odd one out (deflect, hp, stamina and lower enemy crit).
half plate: deflect catalyst (extra chance and dmg reduction for it, hp and def).
full plate: BEEFY TANK (HP segment, HP, HP maintaining {dmg reduction increase} and MORE HP).
