Hi everyone,
There is currently a bug with the Full Reset option. I will work on fixing it as soon as I am able.
Until then, attempting to reset will cause errors that will just make the game unplayable and refreshing the page takes you back to where you were at your last save before the reset.
I'll post a new comment when the bug is fixed. Probably only after I've had a chance to work on it tonight...
I just uploaded a version that includes more robust instructions for game details. If there is still confusion about anything, I will do my best to adjust as needed, and thank you, everyone, for all of the quick and helpful feedback. I sincerely appreciate it.
I know this game is pretty simple, but that was rather the point. I just wanted something simple and fulfilling over a long period of time. I hope everyone enjoys this game or has the foresight to know they won't long before the spend too much time watching the time tick away.
Can anyone clarify how exotic particles are totaled for a given prestige? I thought it was power+heat on a triangular progression from 1Qa. Did that change, or am I just doing my math wrong?
Clarification on my comment, single cells have 2 added for adjacent dual cells and four added for adjacent quad cells. Dual cells have one added for adjacent dual cells and two added for adjacent quads. My last comment wasn't very clear.
Ravensvoice:
Single cells get adjacent dual/quad cells added then squared. Dual cells are only increased by one for adjacent cells. Hence,
(4^2)*2 = 32 times base heat for a dual cell bordered by two dual cells and
(9^2) = 81 times base heat for a solo cell bordered by two quad cells
Man, people like to complain about their stuff blowing up... They basically lay out exactly how the game works in the menu screens. It's a reactor. Do some calculations. Figure out what works and how much heat will be added by your move before doing it. That's kind of the trick of a nuclear reactor, they can become terminally and irreparably overheated and explode.
For convenience, it would be nice to see a total count of all components of each type currently in use. Perhaps that can be one of the menu tabs that pauses the game like the Options or Upgrades tabs.
Has there ever been talk of an decreased refill timer based on pct. of stamina/honor/energy missing? It wouldn't have to be much, but you could increase the desire and benefit of updating and playing more often.
