Managed to get my somu and an enemy oni-somu to flow in a line. they never thouched ^^
however, in my opinion, the controls are aweful, because of the same reasons as PTGDEvD. Accidently killed so many somus.... still gets 4/5
really cool game, but you should add more ships with different weapons (maybe some bosses where you have to change ships, too) and some chances to gain health back.
