I don't get it. I was at 200t damage, and i was able to beat level 69, but got crushed on 70. So i wandered off for a few hours. Now i'm at 800t damage, and don't seem to be any better off on level 70. I'm still able to kill exactly the same number of bad guys before i get slaughtered. My damage quadrupled, and i see no difference in how my dudes perform.
Not sure if something is wrong with the display of damage, or what exactly is going wrong. I'm on level 50, and the enemy i'm facing indicates that it does 146Qad - 219Qad damage. My health is 682Qad. This seems to suggest that the enemy would take at least 3 hits to kill me. However, it's just one-shotting me constantly. It's a brick wall. Even after running one map about 100 times to try to level up a bit, i'm still stuck on world 50 on this one enemy. I can't do any damage, and it kills me instantly.
If you beat all of the levels in normal, then "hard" mode is incredibly tedious. You retain all of your levels and weapons, but the levels themselves reset back to very weak. So the monsters might be level 10 when you're maxed out at 50. The game is a lot of fun, but it seems like a few fairly minor changes would make it much more fun. Different types of monsters, better scaling, maybe a bit of terrain to avoid?
My 3x multiplier is gone. It was working until last night, and now all profits are cut down to a third. Is that 3x multiplier only supposed to last for a certain amount of time?
Is there a list somewhere of the relative speeds of each investment? If i have 700 of every thing, how fast is everything paying off? I know everyone has been asking for a $/s for each, but if i just knew how many times the lemonade stand pays off per second (or relative to the oil), then i could make better decisions. The rate doesn't seem to be consistent (bank looks to be about 6x oil, and movies is about 4x bank for example).
It appears to me that the offline calculations are incorrect. I shut the game down and timed 20 minutes. When i came back to Kongregate and started the game, i had earned 5.2 nonillion dollars, or about 260 octillion per minute. With the game open and running, however, i earn about a nonillion every minute. This seems to indicate that there's penalty of some kind while the game is closed. Is this intentional?
Ok, it looks like my 35x was clickable only after about 1,000,000x the total money i had when i unlocked it. I was at 40TD, i believe, and at something like 40QD it was finally clickable.
"the flashy upgrades cost is based on your total money earned when you unlock it" - i'm still not sure what that really means. It's obviously not EQUAL to the total money, since i've earned WAY more and it hasn't unlocked. Does "based on" mean 20x the money you had earned when it appeared? 40x? 100x? I'm at about 100x the money i had when it appeared, and i still can't click it.
Looks like the angel investors are increasing at a much slower rate now, eh? For my first 3.5 nonillion dollars earned, i got up to 8 billion angel investors. On my current playthrough i've earned 1.2 nonillion, but only 1.4 billion angel investors.
What is the helmet supposed to do? Because it certainly doesn't stop my bird from getting hurt. Even with it maxed, i still get hurt every single time. What the heck?
I think something must be wrong. I was making a few trillion per second, but now all of the sudden - not only am i making sextillion per second, but my angel investor count is rocketing up by a few THOUSAND per second. I wasn't even to 300 units per thing. I should not have had such a huge jump. Just while i typed this out i earned 1 million angel investors.
The temptation to cheat in this game is very high. On about my fourth playthrough (with a few hundred angel investors), i finally caved in and rolled my clock forward. Now i have 80k angel investors, and somehow still feel compelled to come back and look at my total earnings a few times per day.
Thanks for the data - we'll look into this. (In the meantime, consider clearing your cache to make sure you're running the latest build).
