Would be nice if you had to have warriors to defend against enemies. I personally think that'd make a nice addition- having to defend against attackers.
Hey, thanks for playing and for the suggestion! That's a big feature to add so that would be for version 2 if I decide to make one. And I might just do that, in the future.
As someone who's actually played it for a bit. I like it. I won't be spending money on it and I don't feel like it won't be possible to play that way. I'd also like to quote on of the top comments and it's absurdity- "I sense pay to win, don't even have to play the game to feel it anymore" The day we stop giving devs a shot is the day indie games die.
I feel like this game took a few steps back in regards to boss slayer. Boss Slayer was very balanced at all stages of the game and you ended up using most of your days. This game does not seem to share the similar balance. I managed to smoke the first three bosses my first run, they were definitely a bit too easy, the only reason i died on #4 was lack of dps. The upgrades were a bit confusing i couldn't tell when they were fully upgraded. I think the final boss would have been a bit more enjoyable if the butterfly had actually come from the cocoon itself rather than from offscreen.
Also the music changing during the boss battle wasn't a good choice IMO. The way i see it, the music is one of the best elements of this masterpiece and i would have liked to see it simply rise to a climax rather than downgrading in quality. The AI did a good job of keeping me guessing which is a big leap from boss slayer. A great sequel to boss slayer regarding the new mechanics, it would be preferable if some mechanics hadn't appeared such as the final boss warning, the lack of upgrade info (it wouldn't tell me what upgrade i was at from a cursory glance) and the music change for the final boss. The game was still a wallop of fun to play. Despite my minor criticisms, i would rate this an easy 7/10.
Easily the most immersive and realistic gaming experience of my life, i play this game ever day. I feel a connection to the driver, like i am the driver whenever i play this game. My life is a pool of sorrow and pain except for when i play this game. This game is the only bright spot in my life.
"The shrekoners gather around you. In a low, sinister tone they chant Ogres are like onions over and over as they pummel you to death, dressed in their finest green pirate coats."
