Too easy with little variation to it. Not 'random heroes'. Can buy the best stuff so easily. Can only shoot straight - what about some sort of Contra style aiming at least? Also if an elevator passes you and you don't make it, have a break for a bit, because those things are slow and it'll take a while to get back to you. Seems like a game with a lot of features and tweaks just missing. Average 3/5
Solid base for a good game - But buggy and laggy, and the whole real money for fake stuff balance needs to be hit a lot better. It's not that I'm not willing to invest, it's just, I don't want to invest in something which is frustrating to play. Had a lot of problems with decks not saving - it just freezes; you come back and you've lost your deck.
The controls to tell you what to do, always seem to fade before I see them, so I have to check the menu, then it doesn't work. Down to interact - does not work.
The spike death, even though updated is weak - standing next to spikes and jumping up to a platform for example, boom - death. From touching the side of the spike? This game needs more polish, it's too clunky, and for a hard level it's not puzzling, it's just doing moves which are hard. Lazy way to extend it I'd say
Just got the craft-freeze bug. The whole craft system needs to be updated, it's so slow. It's an alright game, bit rigid fighting, doesn't seem to do what it should. 3/5
Don't like the way the game finishes as soon as all hostiles are killed, have to get gold and civilians first, but you don't know how many enemies are remaining. Either, add a counter or a 'Finish Mission' button
Sell button needs a confirm - accidentally just sold something instead of upgrading it - also, show how much you'll get for it on the confirm too, in lovely big letters
My Favourite Deck - 2 Parting Gifts/1 Parting Gift + 1 Kamikaze, 3 Bags of Crystals/Conversion, 2x Reaper's Bounty, 3/4 Dark Merchants/Sacred Pact, 10 Gold Mines, 10 Fresh Skeletons/Demon Worshipper (or 8 and 2 Mud Golems). Basically just focus initially on getting your gold up, playing for crystals and souls when you can. You might have to use your monster cards to get them out of your hand, ready for later. Ideally wait for the AI to play an enchantment, then just drop Parting Gift/Kamikaze on it and keep a steady stream of killable monsters coming out of your portal. Also - if they get rid of all your enchantments, use gold reserves and rush them with all you got. Never lost with this deck.
