One thing that kind of bugs me: It's possible to complete chapter 3 without talking to the monk, but it still mentions his words in the chapter epilogue. Other than that, though, one of the best games on this site.
Sooo.... did you complete the chapter without talking to the monk? :D I figured, if you came all the way to ch3, you're pretty likely to talk to him. And if you don't use the hintbook, then you HAVE to talk to him in order to get the answer about the colour of the berries and the hint about the fallen star.
