Quite contrary to the point, I've gained respect for these guys... I mean, sure they're cutting down rainforests or whatnot, but that's damn hard... Like, seriously... Kudos to business skills that keep McDonalds running however underhanded and disgusting they may be...
Very calm, relaxing and a generally pleasing game -- That is, up until the last boss... Simply put, frustrating... Nothing shy of divine luck can save you from the randomly spawning half-screen horror that eats all of your little faries, nevermind that instead of the usual 4, you now need to hold on to five of the little things just to put an end to it.... At times, I was wishing for a game over screen, the sweet deliverance that would have ended that boss fight, but none came... Only by the good grace of pure luck was I able to get all five faries. It reminded me of the old unforgiving NES games that relentlessly tore at your soul and made your very being scream out in horror... Otherwise, great fun, nice art few glitches and lots of post-game stuff to do.
4/5 because of that boss fight.
Creative and unusual. I rather like the integration of traditional animation into a video game. SoD shows a degree of work put into it far above many other flash games. I can see that there are characters with personalities, some show of story and an interesting control scheme. Very nice!
