I've been playing this game since shortly after it showed up on Kongregate, I even gave them a few Kreds soon after they released the option to use them to purchase in-game upgrades (I didn't buy much, I'm not rich, but they deserved something.) And then they released the moon, since then, I've loaded the game, maybe twice a month. There's no discernible progress, and like that, a great game has turned into a serious grind fest, and I'm not even really able to influence it. I could do the math, I suppose, and figure out when I should be resetting to make the most of it, but after 2 weeks have passed, and I'm still not quite able to gain even 50% more Angel Investors. I feel the game has turned into something the developers are hoping people get frustrated enough with, that they buy all of the premium content forever. I truly hope another update comes out soon that proves me wrong, as it stands now, I have little remaining interest in this game. Good Luck HHG.
I do love this developer more than I probably should (I'll buy you dinner first, don't worry). They recognize problems, listen to their players, and help them when they can. All of this being said, I just lost my progress to a power outage, and not for the first time. Just a little miffed that about 2 weeks of work is down the drain, and of course I don't learn my lesson and use the export feature nearly as often as I should. (I promise to try harder this time). I just can't wait for this issue to be resolved even if it requires a game wipe. Thanks for all the shrimp, and I'll keep on investing!
The fact that there doesn't seem to be a save function is kind of disappointing. Especially since my pc randomly resets from time to time (an ongoing issue I've yet to solve/afford to solve). After running this game for a day or so, and my pc shutting off randomly, losing all progress is kind of a bummer.
So, I find it rather annoying that the default resolution for each level is not the same as the menu/title screen/ etc. So each time I want to "press this play button" I have to right click, and show all, which kind of wastes time and score.
Need subtitles for those of us with no speakers or using public computers where having large amounts of sound would bother others. I'm sorry, I shot admiral whatshisface in hisface because I can't hear you talk to me.
No Mrawesomo, l4d didn't invent zombies, you're correct, however, this game does steal the idea of the hunter, the witch, and I believe it's supposed to be the tank. though imo it looks more like a boomer... so. Yeah.. about that. And that's just by level 3... Though I do give props for the zombie catapult, because mindless entities can make catapults from scraps lying around a ruined city.
Great game, even if a little short, but I must point out a minor error in the game. It seems that when you "Sin" stat is higher, you unchain fairies, but when it's at like 3, it says you're a "sinful kinda guy." and you leave her there.
Other than that, it's entertaining enough to get a 4
Game is great, needs a little streamlining I think, but over all great, can't wait for Gather Up! (I've actually favorite'd this game, which is extremely rare) Good job.
Brigestone, there is not limit to the number of levels on any mode, the "boss" however is on level 9.
I also want to add, much like I did when the first version of this game, and probably back on page 2 of this one, that is is one of my favorite games on Kong, simple, and casual, yet challenging and addictive.

90% luck 5% being awake enough to press a single button a few times.... and 5% pure determination to get the card before bed.
There are times, when you're running at a mid pace. and there's a tiny roof, with a box in the middle of it, and a gap 2x as wide as the roof you're on, going to a taller building. Then if you somehow manage to survive that, there's a bomb dropped on the edge of the building you're jumping to, just to piss you off.
At first, I thought the game was rather difficult, but once I actually paid attention and saw that I could buy another elevator... the game was stupid easy, in fact, I'm typing this while letting my guns kill everything on the last stage.
2/5 Pretty and boring. Would be far higher if there was more to it than hack and slash and cure. Hell, if we even know what the point of the game was I might bump it up to a 3...
I've noticed several issues with the game. And sadly, I've only played through boot camp and the bonus map.
First off, computer has an advantage, they are able to create a unit, and then act with that unit immediately. Whereas the player cannot. Also, the computer likes to just abandon all hope after a while, I seriously killed 39 units of his, and he ran around the entire map in a blimp before landing and taking an air strike. All the while he had 2 factories, and well over 2k in his bankroll.
Another small note: Raptor Fighters are pretty OP. There was absolutely no way I could fend more than one or two off at a time on the bonus map. The enemy merely swarms you with them, and you have a hell of a lot of trouble. Fortunately, the AI also likes to ignore sea combat to focus it's efforts on Raptors.
Overall, this is a good game, a few small balance issues perhaps, and a couple of bug fixes, and I would give it a 5/5, but until then, 4/5.
