Having character die from falling really feels odd when they both float gently to the ground. And because they fall so slowly it makes the timing puzzles a pain.
I gave up somewhere in the "she runs away" chapter because I kept losing when the girl would fall, drift over the box (instead of just falling straight down), and die. There's nothing I could do about it; I just lost because the game doesn't work right.
Requiring the use of arrow keys AND the mouse is a bad design choice. Most people use the same hand for both, and switching between them is annoying. Better to use WASD if you also need the mouse (or at least make it an option)
Fun game, but the torque upgrade doesn't really make the lawnmower feel more powerful. It would be nice if there was a more noticeable change in the damage.
Very nicely done. On my second playthrough, after checking out the easter egg, I considered just waiting until the 400 years ran out to see what would happen. Then I decided I didn't want to know, and sacrificed myself again anyway.
Why does it "pause" randomly? And why does it keep running when paused? Also, would be nice if hitting 'play again' didn't make you go through the title screen and instructions again.
This seems like a fun game, but it suffers from a lack of clear instructions. It's easy to guess the basics if you've ever played any bejeweled-type games before, but other things (what are the conditions for passing each level, how do you get the power-up things, is there any penalty to using them, etc) are harder to figure out.
Good game, but I wish there was a way to make the green arrows around the start squares stop moving. It gets distracting. Same with the flashing around the number of moves you have left.
The rules are incredibly vague, even with the instructions you've added. A tutorial would help immensley, as would some differently-worded rules. The game would also greatly benefit from a reset button, and a way to see the example again without having to refresh the page. Right now selecting 'play again' doesn't start a brand-new game, and doesn't reset the timer.
Good idea overall, but in serious need of some polishing.
Your comment is very nice and uncommon! ;) Thank you very much!
