How can you ppl vote down my comments. THIS IS BULLCRAP. Oh because I dont have enough money RIGHT NOW, AT THIS EXACT TIME, I cant recruit the unique character? SO I MISS HIM?! WTF. No option to release some others for a little extra cash I MISS HIM? BULLCRAP, again this game punishes you SEVERELY for those things which I have given this game more time to prove me wrong and it keeps screwing me over. BULLCRAP
I ended up with Flags; 2,3,4. The canon lvl 4 and rate of fire 4 and I almost didnt have to move I was annihilating ships so fast. Because I was killing ships so fast there was no need for speed, even the boss fight was cake. I beat the boss a few times and got bored. But I found this was the best set up.
Im just glad the guns were free I hate upgrading to a weapon just to find out it sucks. I went the whole game with the flamethrower and sniper rifle. The ice gun, grenade launcher, rocket launcher and flame launcher all sucked!
I like the game but i wish it was longer with more enemies. Also I dont know if this is deliberate but the lag of everything in the game makes for a more lack luster experience. Theres never enough foes onscreen to have anything close to compelling gameplay. I beat the game with just maxing out my speed and no flinching. If there is a 4 I would like to see a much more challenging game where i am compelled to get the upgrades. Smoothing out the mechanics would also make a more fluent game play. Also Switching fighting styles on the fly if a must. Other than those things :-p i love the series. Keep up the good work!
Needs a quality button not just a no plumes option.
Very much needs a reload bar for long reload weapons.
Gets boring fast like the first general, I was able to text with one hand and just blast the swarm with the other. Boring.
