When you click into the truck or plane when bears are arriving, after you get out of that menu, they rush the screen and insta-kill your chickens before you can click on them.
A few bugs...
- Splitter bug ( mentioned by others )
- Ghost creep targetting ( mentioned by others )
- menu window buttons settings and credits randomly stop working until the game is reloaded
Feature requests:
- Ability to mute/lower sound during game from pause screen
- Ability to pick priority targetting ( most HP/least HP/closest/furthest )
Is it possible to change the controls? To allow the arrow keys to be used to move, for example. I'm a southpaw so its a little awkward for me to use 'wasd' keys. :)
1 - creeps intentionally leave the paths but there doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason for it. Random creep is random.
2 - Tower upgrades should allow you to upgrade towers already on the field, not future towers. Either that or upgrade all existing towers and have the option to buy future towers already upgraded.
3 - It seems as if stacking towers next to eachother actually gimps them. Red towers SEEM to do AE damage until I put two next to eachother. Then they single target fireball mobs.
I actually enjoyed this game despite ( or is it because of ) its simplicity. A few more levels would be nice. As people said, it just ends abruptly. Perhaps an end-scene to make it feel closed or a 'boss fight'.
1) it needs a restart button
2) The AI seems not too intelligent. The guns don't seem to have a set order in which they determine targets. A mob with less health than the one next to it will be ignored and the guns will turn around and hit the higher health targets or they seem to randomly switch.
Love the little things that the creeps say though. lol
I haven't read through all of the comments so not sure if this was mentioned but there's a spelling error in the skills section.
Level 30: Lower initial and /incremental/ cost for buildings.'
I like this spin on the TD genre. It's a bit of RPG added to the mix. However, those that are coming in thinking this is your usual TD will be surprised by the fact that the roads are there just for cosmetic purposes.
I'm not sure if it's working as intended or a bug in their pathing but the mobs don't stay on the roads. Not even the ground ones. Some feer right past the towers and straight for the temple.
This one is certainly a lot more difficult than the first.
In the first, the first few levels could be blown through without anything that could be considered a close fight. This one though... even the first level's boss seems a lot tougher.
A few suggestions though, mainly about the shop. Maybe make it so you can check multiple items and mass sell them instead of having to click and sell one by one.
Also possibly a buyback option? Not sure how that would work or if it can even be coded.
3/5 Good game with the potential to be great.
Maybe have special units available after finishing each mission or save your progress and unit levels through missions.
