Torn, wanted to like the game but every level felt like a super grindfest just to beat last boss mod. Liked that I couldn't beat levels on first try so that it made me try different strategies, but definitely misses the golden curve for moderate-short investment for flash games. Would prefer quicker progression with more levels. Good game and great concept overall, but needs tweaking.
Second post because the first was too long.
Some creative criticism. I felt there were times the game seemed a little dull. Notably it takes about a minute or more to build up to a point that starts to get challenging. Also when mostly small objects spawn it is fairly easy to dodge all of them. Consider some of the following.
1. Increase the frequency with which large objects spawn.
2. Increase the speed with which the difficulty rises.
3. Add an extra objective to reward points in combination with time survived. --- I think it would actually be neat (and fitting) to give the player horizontal movement and have light beams that spawn in different areas of the screen. Positioning the player in the light beam increases the player's score. A score multiplier could also be given for still having solar panels attached.
Still it was a great game, keep up the good work.
Overall great game. Simple but fun, smooth gameplay, great graphics and animations.
Nice touches on:
1. Variety of and randomness of objects spawned, including their speed and direction.
2. Debris collisions, really adds a fun extra challenge factor.
3. Losing the solar panels on those first close calls, haha.
I like it a lot, but still needs some tweaking. I haven't read all the comments but I noticed quite a few people have had gear progression difficulty like I have. An interesting way to combat this, and add a bit more strategy to fights, could be to add "Match Bonuses" for putting on a good show. +Money for delimbing +Loot (rare loot) for beheading. Vote up if you think its a good idea. (Sorry for the repost, I wish Kongregate had a better comment system)

4/5 Pretty good game. The collision system doesn't work exactly like the screen looks like so some shots are difficult until you understand this. Might benefit from more objects to interact with; destroyable objects, moveable objects, switches/doors.
4/5 Really interesting game and great graphic style. Liked the leveling/upgrade and combo system. Difficult to dodge attacks. Maybe make it so the enemy being attacked is stunned while in combo? Would be neat if levels were different.
Seems decent. 3/5 Need more driving space on the road. Have to drive fairly slow to do well but driving slow isn't as much fun. What does "reverse driving" and "violate light" do?
Decent game. Could use more challenge. Maybe shots actually coming at you instead of just from the sides or enemies that fly toward you. Graphic style actually worked pretty well for a good simple shooter.
Good framework for a game. I liked the graphic style. As mentioned, upgrades important. I would have liked a little more screen room to move around and so that there would be more warning time when enemies popped onto the screen.
The way the controls work really make it almost unplayable. I'm not sure if there is some type of gravity effect on the planet as well but that might need to be lowered if there is.
I can't change the controls because of how I made the movement system. I can try to lower the gravity effect but I fear that people will start flying off the screen too much.
Great game overall. It more of a skill based game so I don't see how upgrades would help it much. Maybe a greater variety of objects to interact with or different cannon types instead. The idea of the soldier leveling up seemed odd. It made it feel like it should be an rpg or have some rpg elements but it doesn't have any.
Good overall. To go with what sefa65 said about the background, you could make the background change overtime as you get closer and closer to an end point.
Why?
