Great improvement on the gemcraft series, although for gems like armor reduction, it'd be great if you had a tower option that shifts priority to "enemies not yet hit" to equally spread the stat reduction
If youre going for the dead on time mode's hard badge, get it BEFORE the great escape one and upgrade everything except for your windshield, so you can break the windshield easier and focus on honking instead of that and the windshield wipers as you run after zombies.
[SPOILERS]
For lone wolf, it's all about time management in gathering the stuff, then just build the fence, power it with gas, lock the door, build up the brick in the window, have 4 bullets, axe murder bill, and hide away in the hatch.
Follow that one top rated comment's guide for the hard badge it's awesome, but for that damned last challenge it helps to set goals. Mine was mostly for the first round since that's the one I met the most, but it was: can't miss more than 1 shot for the first wave, and to get past it in under 15 seconds, then reload before the 2nd and 3rd waves so you don't have to worry about it
my only complaint is that the combo powerup freezes the screen, can really screw you up post 125 combo. other than that for a simple reflex game I can't get enough
the quickest way to beat this game is to up INTELLIGENCE, and rise your way through your own country until you can get the best units available so Patriotism stacks with art of war and gives you mega gods at your command while you sit back being somewhat tanky
Here's a few tips for the hard badge, dont focus too hard on the elements the sorcerer and enemies a few floors from him wont have any weaknesses, YOU CAN MAKE POTIONS AND ENCHANT TWICE WITH THE SAME ITEM all you have to do is transmute one of them and leave the other alone, and ignore gold and item drop bonuses theyre mostly irrelevant
