If the rectangle layers are supposed to give a 3d background effect you should move them behind the world blocks. Right now it just looks odd because it's like they are between the guy and the world the guy is on

you might want to make it so that you don't have to wait for the key repeat to kick in for the guy to move use the if (Key.isDown(Key.)) command
