I was like you once, browsing Kongregate for a fun game to pass the time. I was told about flappy bird, I was warned, but I just smiled and thought 'it's just a game, how bad can it be?', so I played it. I played flappy bird. Some games are addictive, such as idle mine. This is life ruiningly addictive. I haven't slept. I lie in bed, I can hear flappy bird taunting me to try and beat my score again, when I close my eyes all I see is flappy bird. I haven't eaten. I see flappy bird in the food on my plate. I hear him in the voices of those I love. I feel him within me. I now understand that flappy bird is no bird. Flappy bird is satan. Flappy bird ruins your life, it takes away all enjoyment and happiness and leaves you paralysed, suffering and starving. I have developed anger issues through flappy bird. It has caused me to scream, throw shoes and even punch my monitor. I hate flappy bird, but at the same time I love flappy bird, once you play flappy bird there is no escape.
