Okay, I love the old-school feel and the use of low-quality graphics for increased performance, but the handling is really bad. It's like everything that's bad about Flash controls mixed with everything that was bad about Commodore controls. Better could have been done.
The fairy illustration wasn't the greatest, but I appreciate the effort to add your own style and character aesthetics to the game. The gameplay was excellent. I hope you continue to develop your drawing skills and don't get discouraged.
I never spent too much on the first Protector - it's a very time consuming game - but this time around the depth of the unit levels is really entertaining.
This is honestly one of the best flash games I've played in months. It's so very simple, cute and fun that I keep coming back to it, despite having accomplished all the badges. Best ever: 3 days, but only because of one seriously lucky first shot.
What's with the random team generation? No matter what I do, after ten random shots, I end up with a team of maybe one unit I'm interested it, then I just reload the whole thing to try at it again. Nothing but frustrating, and I haven't even STARTED the game yet.
