Honestly the difficulty curve is weird to say the least. Inside a grade enemies are pretty much all the same in term of power except for the "Boss".
Long story short, once you have no problem defeating any enemy the rest of the Grade is a joke. But as soon as you rise in grade you get your ass handed to you by the first opponent you met with full superior grade equipement.
Fun to play. A few complaints:
Specialisation has no purpose: non final level always feature one skill, sometimes two. This mean that the game goes like this: climb level => max climb => run level ? => max run ! and so on until you maxed every skills.
Money doesn't matter as maxing energy is ridiculously easy and energy is pointless: you either run out of energy and can't win at all or you have way to much of it and just forget about it. You should be able to manage energy consumption during the races, like pushing your duck more or making him save it.
Training are simple mini games and I have no issues with them, they could have a little more thought behind them.
I got Nidhogg. Seems seriously glitchy. Playing with the 40% damage reduction dudde and two rosaria I can just stand on the right part of the screen with my beast breath 100% uptime giving me ulimited health and energy and continuous aoe damage.
When I saw the gorgeous artwork and the continious frontpage spam I thought I'd give it a try. Then I did it and discovered the ingame art is laughable.
Don't trust the Ads, it looks like garbage. I don't care about poor graphs, but that's lying advertising
This game is massive garbage.
I do not understand why everybody give it so high grade.
- There is no gameplay
- The "philosophical message" is as deep as an interview with Jean Claude Vandame: "Run after me, I run from you. Run from me, I run after you" clap clap very deep
In fact, I'M WRONG, this is game brillant. I take it all back. This game demonstrate that with a minimalistic/confused/somehow uneasing message you can drive people to extrapolate and interpret much deeper meaning than the original author's message.
I have read tons of "analysis" on this game and I'm stun by how much "deeper meaning" and different interpretations people have made. This is true genius, as a programmer I can say this game can be developped from scratch in less than a day without even getting a designer.
Hat down AlexanderOcias, you are my new hero. I'm jealous I haven't think of such a great way to get price money.
