For those of you stuck at that Mythos E100+ range, the following: Challenges, Runes. These two things are the key to breaking into Reincarnations. I wound up having to let the idle game idle for about a day in order to grind challenges I was close to completing and gather offerings, and those two things saw me through. It is not "single sitting" playable that I know of.
Good puzzle game, gets just tough enough to be fun, but has a "solve a mystery" hook that goes nowhere until level 25, and then isn't used in any way that's interesting. Would have been better ending at 25.
Hmm you're right, we're not really exploring the mystery here, we put all that effort into the deluxe edition. Should've spent more time on this version.
Takes 1-1.5 hours to complete. Feels more like a fun combat puzzle game (which is a good thing!) than standard RPG. Does require some grinding. Could use an extra soundtrack or two to mix things up as game progresses, but you can also just play your own music in the background. 4.6/5, gave 5 stars.
Getting all in-game medals requires replaying on each difficulty level. Since I started on highest difficulty, that would be incredibly boring. This makes the medals an annoyance rather than a feature. Other games with similar design have higher-difficulty achievements also count for all lower difficulties.
The model used is awful. The way he holds the rifles hurts, whether he's holding the stock up to his face or tucking it under his arm. Graphics need to fit together.
Did any of you guys talking about how it reminds you of Final Deathwish read the comments? This was made six months ago. It's similar but slightly worse because blaralreilawhgeilwhg rage quit
