How many people can say they blew away a highschool basball team with a 60 mph fastball. Well, I can. Over Veteran’s Day weekend(Nov. 14-15, 2009), I came in to pitch when our team was losing 13-3! In the second inningO_O! Amazingly, I came in to attempt to stop the bleeding. And I did! I pitched a decent three innings with three K’s and no walks(our first pitcher hit 2 batters, and walked about 5 or 6). We only played five innings because of a two-hour time limit. In the bottom of the fifth, we were losing by 7 runs with the score 14-7. OUr first guy came up, hit a pop-up that should have been an out, but wasn’t. I came up next and laced one up the middle to put runners on first and second with no outs. Seven runs, however, is a lot to score in one inning(especially the last on), so we sadly came up short only behind by two runs, the score was 14-12. But i definetely did more than my part . If anyone cares why I did so well, I had a super secret pitch that no one could have seen coming; that pitch was a strike(in a sarcastic voice).
