It was fun! Until I played with Freyja and found a strategy, just keep running away and eventually all enemies will be (far) coming from only one direction, then just keep the distance while using rocket barrage on the enemy's front units. That's cheap, extremely easy and boring way to win 0_o . I'm at 30M score and my armor almost always stays full to the end. Currently no one is able to match the speed of rolling (double tap right key) with a Fasta drive. But it would be a very fun game if somehow the enemy is able to surround me! PS I like dodging the long range bullets, especially if they come from multiple directions :D .
Can't find any better strategy than just a bunch of outlets directly into vents, diamond-shaped checkered-protium-reflector, and the rest of the space for capacitors, with a very high proportion of exotic particles gone to capacitor upgrades. I'm producing about 30Qa power per tick now... I give up... tips please? :P
Pressing up speeds up the ship, very useful if you want to cover more distance while flying D: and when the first few thousand meters becomes a little too easy. I wonder why it isn't written in the controls menu.
Why couldn't I complete the 'Concerted Efforts' guild quest? My brother as well. We are in the same guild and we did boss together until the last stage, but the quest is never completed :P
frik I just realized I didn't actually need to beat the game cycles over cycles.. just needed to click on the continue button and fight Iblis again and choose another ending x) . Ok, not bad after all discovering it before starting my 4th cycle. Anyway Ginny's ending deserved the effort <3
Just got Ginny's ending - was overwhelming for me, totally worth playing (tho tbh this game genre isn't usually for me). The first ending I got was Neferiti. I just remembered how stuff happened and realized how Ginny would've ended up when I pick any other ending. Anyway I guess I love the mix between sad and happy ending ;3 --- Oh, yeah. I'd never forget to credit the music for all the goose bumps. It was simply piano - my #1 favorite!! It's rare to have piano solo like this you know... It's as simple as to let me understand the music to its details, and thus greatly amplified my emotions.
10,000 combo? Now it's interesting :D . 50,000 was out of my head.
Btw, based on my calculation:
combo 1500 gives a total of over 2,500 coins
combo 2150 gives a total of over 5,000 coins
combo 3050 gives a total of over 10,000 coins
combo 4350 gives a total of over 20,000 coins
combo 9900 gives a total of over 100,000 coins
*excluding coins from the field and gold scrolls which is quite considerable
So.... I'm pointing out that I'm averaging around 1500 combo right now and reaching 2150 is common, and I consequently am having too much coins, which is why I'm asking for some expensive items to buy :p .
Is there a new bug where you cannot slide (down key) right after switching lane (left/right)? Maybe related to the slashing animation not stopping when switching lane (I think this is a feature, but then it causes the slide-disability, which I think is a bug?). Well anyway we can do jump + roll instead of sliding.
Well my earlier comment was rated so negatively because I asked for more ways to spend my coins while some people think the prices are impossible. But really, if you get a high combo, you can get a lot of coins because the coin bonus keeps increasing. Combo 1500 will give you 2635 coins in total, excluding all the coins in the field (and the gold scrolls are also powerful).
I have bought all except the 75000 skin, but I'm getting close to it, and it won't be as fun anymore after that. I believe some others are getting close to having nothing to do with the coins anymore too.
I know, more levels, bosses, new skins with char. abilities are cool, but I only ask an easy update to make, like one more scroll upgrade or just something simple just to spend my coins on.
Can we have an update which contains something more to spend our coins on? :P I will eventually get everything in like.. 1 week, and that will suck. Anything I could waste my coin for would be good. Maybe another scroll upgrade which costs 100,000 coins each? :P .
If you're moving from the left lane to the middle and you press right, this won't be ignored though.
Tips if you roll to early against a Goliath, you can reset the roll by jumping and then rolling again. Some lamps can only be hit if you jump later than comfortable. Just in case you're too scared to try :p , the berserkers (giants) can be killed if you have the thunder scroll. Upon crashing a gate, be ready to slash to the left, since there might be a bamboo coming very fast (well, just a matter of 1 combo :p ). Having a gold or wind scroll sometimes alter the best path for your combo. Always save the multiplier boosts/shadow cloaks you get from the lucky boxes because there are missions to use 5 or 10 of them, and it can be expensive (well, if you haven't completed all missions, like me. I don't know if there's an end to the missions though).
LOL I just reached 1198 combo without any items.. it's easily my high score and i got 2365 coins in a single game due to the bonus from combo. The prices might not be too high :p , I just need to do this more often
opposite to alexburlton's opinion, I like the pricing ;) . If I have bought everything, I would probably stop playing. But this way, I'll be playing for a long time. Two birds in one shot? Both enjoyment and gameplay length for me :P . Well that's just my opinion.
I would be glad to see a boss after three gates or so too like Hibernated suggests :D . Imo 1000-2000 coins is too much, but the concept of the boss is a cool idea!
