Okay, 3rd feature: a "finished" button after the last level. You're get the exact same menu you always see at the end of the level, and you're left with an "oh well, what do I click now" feeling?
Good concept, and I don't mind the graphics. Here are 2 features I would like to see: retry button on the menu (even if you passed, to get a better score) and a clearer indication (first level tutorial anyone?) that you can delete the cell towers and re-place them.
3/5 okay, but you need a stated objective. Why am I flying around collecting... pollen? Even a simple one page text intro would go a long way toward making it more interesting.
The game itself is well done and playable.
I don't understand your problem with the controls... I made it all the way to the top my first time without a problem.
The music though... that I can agree with.
At least for this version, go into your code and add "divide by 10" on your algorithm that spawns white blood cells. That will ease up the quantity, and help you to not get completely hammered by commenters.
Here are a couple suggestions that will raise my rating from a 3 to a 4: 1)Give me 2 or 3 tries on each level. 2)Let me start from my first unfinished level. 3)Be consistent on the mechanism to get through the game. It's annoying having to keep switching from the mouse to the keyboard and back. 4)For a 5th star, you could give it some sort of storyline. Even a minor one. (Mario, there's a princess on the island... whoops, wrong island.)
This is a good start at a fun game. The notes on the first two levels could be re-written to be more engaging, and the final picture was a little... disappointing.
But if you take the concept itself and work with it, this could be a good game, with multiple levels.
Have you ever noticed that it is those with lower points who spam for badges? I mean, go earn points on other badges. I think that "this game needs badges" = "If you give this game badges I'll get easy points."
Pretty fun game. Considering it's a first upload 5/5. You can improve on gameplay by just reducing the number of lives, rather than pausing, or if you allow me pressing an arrow key to unpause. It was annoying having to reach for the P key (which was not explained), and then going back to focusing on the screen.
