The game has a nice pace to it up to a point, then it takes forever to upgrade and even advance. For me it's when trying to earn sextillions. Personally I don't know if you are working directly on this or there will be secondary upgrades via souls that you keep talking about Hoistmaster that will balance out this slow part of the game, but I thought it would be best for you too know either way before the game is polished off and you think you are done. Better to play it safe as a developer.
If you don't know what I mean exactly it's the spending vs. earning. You spend way too much and it takes forever for you to earn more upgrades even with what you spent to earn more.
I hope you haven't abandoned the game. It has a very strong base to work off of. You have several game mechanics, slow mo and extra agility. If at most make the game files open source/available so someone can work on them.
Hey PointAndShootSt you really need to set a spawn limit, 40-80. Or at the very least let us have the option to change the spawn rates and spawn limits within the options.
The reason I am empisizing on this so strongly is that the never ending spawning is what is causing people to not like the game, the zombies overflood the system and causing lagging and/or failure of Unity 3d. If at most I believe you should fix this issue before you start making the game more environmentally and visually improved, I.E. adding or deleting buildings and scenery. What I am trying to say is fix the mechanics/functions of the game first and then you have a strong foundation to work on.
I know this is Alpha, so I will be playing this/testing it and adding info and tips for the finished game.

2nd: When you pause the game doesn't actually pause, the menu comes up and everything but the game still runs and you can die.
3rd: You can't access the options in the menu in game, meaning you start playing, then pause, you can click options but nothing will happen.

More updates from me later, I really appreciate this game and would like to thank you for putting in the time and effort of making this. I hope I can help find glitches/bugs and other miss informed designs.
The game is like a rough diamond, it has potential but it needs to be refined. A few of my thoughts are when lower the quality thin out the grass or limit how much grass there is/is visible; another is an option to get rid of the over head view map, that can lower performance for the computer/Unity Player; Limit spawning, the spawned creatures flood the map and never stop spawning causing massive lag/crashes/freezing within a few minutes. Maybe limit the max that can be spawned, I suggest under 80 at most (spiders and zombies, less spiders than zombies think of them as a special harder enemy, so 20/60); When entering the car it's stuck in the ground, if possible raise it above the ground just a little so when the game starts the gravity will place it properly on the ground; Maybe add controls/instructions to fly the helicopter. Either way it's a good game but performance wise computers can't handle the grass density and flood spawning, mainly the flood spawning.
This game would be beatable if you didn't stop when you would attack. Think about it, if you could move AND attack you would be able to pick off the big swarms of enemies and not get swarmed.
