haven't played it yet. what will the game be like? you have a castle, the enemy has a castle, you occasionally click or press a button to make units, it requires a very slight amount of skill, and for some reason people love it.
interesting idea, but most of the unlockable characters are far too weak to be of any actual use. and with the gameplay moving as fast as it does, you can't always tell what's going on. i have not yet mastered the use of melee characters, as so many enemies seem to stun me.
it IS a good game, but some of the levels are more annoying than fun to beat. i'd like to see a way of putting the more well-made maps into the actual levels of the game. maybe an in-game voting system that allows you to vote up maps? that way there could be new levels frequently. after you beat all levels, they all become permanently unlocked, with a minimap on the menu screen showing what a level will look like. good idea? bad idea?
i am now up to day 70 with the same rapid-fire crossbow i upgraded around day 20. something is wrong here. compare the hunter with bow mastery 9 to the sniper who is most powerful using a rifle. i can hit around 12 enemies with a single hit, and with two lv2 fire rate mods and one lv3 fire rate mods, i'm shooting off 6.6 per second. that's a potential 79 enemies that i can hit for around 22 damage - or around 40 damage, when i use the party option. a sniper gets one shot per second, and it hits one enemy.
the game is excellent. there is a definite imbalance in guns though. you pretty much can't go wrong with the crossbows, but big guns, other rifles, etc. are far weaker...it's almost too easy once you get the fast bowgun.
wow, that is almost a game. now, all you need is a plot, a series of progressions, and actual enemies with actual names. i can see how it looks like mafia wars though. you know, except for the part where it sucks uncontrollably.
simplistic. you have a good basis for a TD game, but you make us use the same towers of unknown strength against the same penguins of unknown strength over levels of slightly increasing difficulty. be creative in more than just your maps, and this game will be a far greater success.
