Tournaments are sometimes fun, but more often than not bullshit. I can't tell you how many times I've lost just because the opponent got atlas or emp, or because randomness didnt work in my favor - or BECAUSE I WAS FORCED TO PLAY FIRST. Like I said, bullshit.
It's a really cool game, but I find myself continually distracted by the poor quality drawing of Rachel. Sadface :(. The enemies look really good though, and so far it's a pretty smooth game. May I suggest getting rid of the current skill system and replacing it with a feat system, however? Much more fun that way.
Honestly, I still hate this game, even after all these years. It is waaayyy to frustrating and involves waaayyyy too much grinding. The basic mechanics are fun, but then it gets sooooooo....boring. And btw, good job, you made some money off a shitty game. You're like Rudy Sudarto. Even the music bores the shit out of me.
My main complaint is that games last forever. Given how enjoyable a single game is, I don't know if this is a bad thing, but games certainly do drag on. Apart from that, I really want achievements which should probably unlock new commanders/weapons/tactical options. Great game - I loved manually operating towers.
One of the first games in which I wish to "lose", simply because I think the orbs winking out is prettier than the stars they turn into. Thank you - 5/5
You know, I dont like the skill upgrades system either. I've been working on a perk system. Maybe I'll use the perks instead of the upgrades.
