Wow. What a great game! Beautiful artwork, fleshed out characters and a rich backstory make for a truly immersive experience. It had me laugh and cry. Amazing piece of work!
What's the name of your PayPal tip jar?
I have Windows 10 with Firefox. The game loads, but doesn't make it past a screen saying "Preparing..." No error report, either. Any ideas what the problem might be?
I was thrilled to see another game from ExperaGameStudio had been released. Honestly, I was thoroughly disappointed to find out that it's an idle game, as I was hoping for another of their awesome Point and Click adventures... I guess the devs wanted to try something else, which is perfectly understandable. While the idle genre does nothing for me, I guess a lot of people out their like these sort of 'games'.
As you said, we wante to try something new; it was sort of an experiment.
Don't worry, though, our next adventure (even if not a P&C) will be something very different! ;)
I liked it a lot. Great humor and interesting puzzles, a quirky world, a morally flexible lead character. Reminds me of the old LucasArts adventures.
Concerning the puzzles I got two nitpicks, though:
SPOILER ALERT
The Alchemy kit cannot be used on the ooze, instead the ooze has to be used on the kit. Both ways should work IMO.
When I tried using the (then unpowered) Eco-Engine on the stuck saw, I got the associated standard response (something like "This doesn't need powering"). Which is a bit misleading.
Thank you for the feedback. The alchemy kit and ooze should work both ways: it is a bug and we will correct it ASAP. Same for the Eco-Engine on the saw: we will add a correct and better response! :)
And about LucasArts adventures: it is really a big compliment for us. We grow up at bread and LucasArts point and click games! XD
For me, this series just hits a sweetspot - its atmosphere, story, dialogue, a bit of humour thrown in here and there. I also very much like that it involves no pixel hunts and most of the puzzles make sense. One can easily tell that a lot of passion, time and commitment went into making these and I really appreciate that and I'd like to thank the developers for it! That being said - I love this game series, I can't wait for the next episode!
Thank you SO MUCH! :D
We are putting all of our resources in this game, and it's wonderful to see that the players are getting this!
We liked graphic adventures since our childhood, but, as you noticed, we soon find pixel hunting a boring experience, and the first thing we decided developing AMOC was to avoid it at any cost!
We really hope you'll enjoy the fourth episode as well! :)
Try to close and re open your browser, it should help :) Sorry about that.
