I love this game. If anyone wants to add an another dimension to this game, I have a quirky system I sometimes employ: BADASS LEVEL. +1 point for punching an enemy to death (+1 if you threw a weapon at them before doing so). +1 point for each unique weapon you use (maximum 3, for pistol, shotgun, and assault rifle). +1 point for killing two or more guys with one shotgun blast. +1 point for barely dodging a shotgun blast. -1 point for missing a shot. You can only get each point once per level, so you can't just spam punching random guys over and over again. You have to be unique. Playing the game while following these rules makes it a lot more fun because then you'll start wanting to accumulate more points and beat your previous high score. You can keep track of the points in your head.
I hate how the flow gets interrupted by one of the more advanced hero "problems." In "Papers, Please," the puzzles are more diverse and complicated in a way that doesn't ruin the flow. You're shuffling through papers and you're looking for that ONE detail that will make or break your decision to let the guy in. You're multitasking multiple things while handling the information the other dude is giving you. It's stressful but fun. In this game it's
"Can I buy a sword equal to the number of five letter words I said" and your just looking at this one sentence for a few seconds until you finally go "OH! Ok."
Thank you for the feedback :D I'll admit that currently the game relies heavily on just dialog and conversations, which makes diversity hard to achieve. Hopefully this will change in the future. Still we are very honored to be compared to Papers, Please. We are huge fans of that game.
You should be able to kill guards but only be able to do it when no one is chasing after you and only from behind
Make it happen in the sequel. Also give the character a gun but make it so someone without a close distance of you can hear the shot. I would like it if on some levels the boss would also have a gun, but only a pistol or handgun.
HAHAH Thank you mate! yes we did it!
