Great game dude.
Only bug I can think to report so far is a typo, sometimes Lucky Level shows 1000 No for example instead of 1 of the next level for cost.
Do Chemical Industry, Electrics, Mining Industry, or Metal Industry ever become available? It has the previous things I already researched as red and my available research area is empty. I have over 1000 scientists and have built a little bit of everything. I can't think of any other way to unlock it unless the game just ends here or my game is broken.
I played this about a month ago and came back to see the updates but there is a raider officer message on the screen and the game is frozen. I can see stingers flying around so it is working, I'm just stuck on this screen. I'll make a new game but I thought you'd appreciate the bug report.
If I run out of fuel and energy I just sort of sit there. I have yet to notice the energy regen making any difference (the standard, I have nothing special equipped). I think it would be good to impliment either a game over / self-destruct option or something.
This is a very good game for 48 hours. Dev should consider putting a week into it now to add more levels, it is genuinely a good game outside of that competition.
To win on hard mode I used 3 operatives. Captured a few regions but focused mainly on using undercover and distort on the enemies. I had trouble succeeding with any other strategy.
1 Day 22 Hours 29 Minutes. It is unlikely there is ever a happy ending. Research first. You should finish by Wave 1. Little bugs take 3 bullets, Raptors take 6. You can research while reloading. You should have money done before Wave 2 is over. Go onto reloading. Purchase the sniper when possible, it is technically available during a heavy attack on you by a flying and a few raptors. Buying afterwards is fine.
After reload you can dump a few points into hp regen or accuracy, I recommend at least 1 in accuracy. Then you can load up the plant points. Take the plant on with the sniper rifle. You will quickly gain enough money to buy the Xray. You will be able to take down the advanced units the tree sends at you with the sniper rifle.
You can probably trim a few hours off my time. I put more points into health and accuracy than was necessary.
2 days 9 hours 7 minutes. You should finish research by the end of wave 1. Stand Researching, briefly stop to shoot 3 bullets at little bugs and 6 bullets at raptors. Only fire when they are right next to you or you are wasting bullets. I load up money next then reload.
Problem is you cant beat the game with machine gun. You need at least xray to defeat the tree. So you can load up on health upgrades and accuracy, you dont really need either. Because you will be waiting for the 7K to purchase the xray. As soon as you get Xray, finish the tree and itll go down easily. Before then just stick with sniper, 1 or 2 shots on all enemies at that point.
Still no happy ending at this finish. Not sure if there ever is. Or if anything Day 1 is possible.
I'm not going to lower my ranking on this game. But seriously. Add a volume control at the beginning of the game. It is a user-friendly feature that many people appreciate.
