I really love the bonus hit points that unlock mini-games, it's always really exciting to see what it is and also provides a new challenge!
I think this game would be perfect with a light gun on an arcade machine! You guys did a great job and it's an interesting take on the theme of 'All Out War', although i'm not keen on the inclusion of zombies - the juxtaposition between the horror of the zombies and an 'infection' and the innocence of a child wanting to imitate his father is quite an interesting idea.
Overall a really great experience, i'd like to see more developments on the game. More levels would be great, but perhaps more than that - i see this being an interesting on-rails shooter - maybe it could be interesting to play with prototyping some kind of progression.

I really like the idea, i think the aesthetic is really nice. I'm not so keen on the menu art - it doesn't really fit the game (nor does the music).
I'm not such a big fan of the help screen, i don't really see a need to have it as text like that - you probably reasonably have a short in-game tutorial at the beginning of the round (even if it's only a few seconds as it would only need to be very simple). I Like the curve of difficulty although there doesn't seem to be any consequence for holding the mouse down - seems like if there's no consequence for holding the mouse it should just be on all the time or there should actually be a consequence. It could also be cool if you could pop the bubbles in the background of the menu/help screen (tiny tiny mini-games to break up the down time - like when the bubbles are moving etc).
The controls feel nice at first although slowly become more difficult to control when the speed starts to ramp up.
I actually really enjoyed this. I think it fits the LD theme perfectly. Sound mechanics which are obviously stated, easy to use and a delight to control. I still think the art could be polished a little more, i wasn't keen on the face i think you probably gone from pinks to beiges to grey to black and stayed a cube or circle and it would have the same effect. Music was a little repetitive but somehow soothing yet also uneasy in later stages. Great job 4/5.
Help us get the finished game on Steam where we hope to publish for free! http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=92923950&tscn=1346350679
Nice games jam game - you should build on this, add more enemies and maybe an upgrade or evolution system. There was quite a nice curve but it would be nice to see later enemies doing different things (lasers?). Good job 4/5.
Thanks. :) I did have some plans for player upgrades too, and more enemy variety, but you can only do so much in 48 hours. Right now I'm thinking I will work on an improved version and add more features like that.
Nice job, needs a vs computer or vs player online mode. Could do with a few extra animations here and there, for example the sword. Otherwise, strong and fun build.
Slightly buggy movement sometimes, however it has a lot of potential to be a nice slick game. Fix the movement issues and add some detail and itll be great :-)
So far only 6 hours development have gone into this game, we're looking to further develop this game at some point - new levels, features, mechanics, etc. Any feedback and ideas are more than welcomed :-)
Good stuff man, you should get some more sounds in. The leaf got me at the beginning.. The suspense was killing me and that bastard dropped down resulting in me panicking and shooting it.
Haha, thanks buddy! :D Yeah, I'll definitely get working on those sounds over easter... you know how amazing at code I am I should have it done in no time. :L
I blame the coders...... >.>
