Yep, they do. No more free slots means no room for growth. To empower further you have to liberate the Baldurin at least once and move to the next dimension. Then you'll be able to spend Hellstones to "absorb" orbs into the slots - absorbed orbs will free their slots but will still give their bonuses. Put more orbs into the slots, rinse, repeat. :]
You said you bought time warp before. Did you slot more orbs into Quest Speed, or you were hoping the orbs would multiply their bonus for every timewarp you do? They won't do the latter.
Or... wait a sec. Which "time warp" did you actually buy? "Warp to the future for a short time" or "Get Time Warp Bonus Without Reset"?
JohnSmith96, check the top line with the current bonuses. If they are equal to the bonuses shown below the slotted orbs - time warp worked just fine. I've tried buying it myself right now, and it definitely worked as intended.
Btw, janer920. Do you know that higher dimensions are actually easier then lower ones? Base XP for quests and bosses is multiplied by dimension number. At 30+ dimension and x8000+ hero buff it's possible to clear the run in less then a hour with heroes only, without any troops or extractors. And now with a bonus XP buff the same process takes ~6 minutes... Or ~7, if you save 2 hellstones on shortest limited quests.
I've reported that bug a week ago, and still didn't get the answer. It clearly is the result of integer overflow caused by "strengthening troops according to hero levels" formula.
LSpike, after your first liberated dimension you can "absorb" the orbs into positions. It costs some Hellstones, but adds the orb bonus without using up a slot. Absorption of an Ultra Orb costs 20 Hellstones.
Could you please tune down "level X times" random quest? I'm overlevelled because of event-granted free levels, and thus with my current power it takes ages to level up 5 more times. And when after such a feat you get "level up 4 times" as a next quest, it becomes rather frustrating experience.
