If you want a well made tower-defense game that makes you scream bloody murder and tear out your hair on the last 2 levels, then this is for you! I have all the badges, but I'm not leaving with a sense of accomplishment, but with contempt for the developer's sadism and confusion about having to put something of that outrageous difficuilty (+ dependence on sheer luck - mana drops) at the end of an otherwise great game. Could have been easily avoided by not going nuts in stacking all factors against the player there. Deducted 2 stars from my previous 5/5 rating for this.
"Cursed Measure: Hey! Players! Leave us games alone!"
Really great game. One thing is really annoying, however: if you kill the last foe of a wave by counter attack or continuous poison/burn damage, the next wave rushes in and takes their turn immediately! This is a tactical desaster, and punishes you for using these skills/weapons. Foes that were not on screen at the beginninmg of their side's turn shouldn't get an action.
Ninja Kiwi should change their name in "pay to win games". It is always the same with them, they make their games big and progress painfully slow in order to offer you in-game upgrades at outrageous prices. Meh!
Started three times, and either I'm having lots of bad luck, or the item balance is really off, I'm only finding rubbish for my class, can't get my hands on something better than the crappy starting weapon. Really fun-killing if you are powerless to win because you simply can't do enough damage...
The game will always drop more items for your class than the others. Make sure you have the sorting options set to include your desired items (or better yet sort by value) and you should have plenty to use :)

I thought the same initially, but the skill level has a huge impact on the power of the automatic rifles. If you go through the pain of levelling it a bit, it becomes awesome, minigun rules at high skill level!
"Kill 30 people with support" - Thirty? THIRTY? Are you kidding me? Especially with powerful units all over. Smells like: " force the player to burn tons of money on a totally frustrating and senseless goal to squeeze the maximum playtime out of it, even if totally unnecessary and stupid" I love your game, really, I do, but the forced en masse support kills - meh, they simply stink.
Completed first playthrough before badges came out - have to collect them on the second, making things a little harder, and a lot more time intensive....
I really dislike games where you have neither enough control nor options to really "play". What is this? One button, and a million predetermined deaths because you can't see it coming until you died - meh, is my taste not even close to the average.
Shotgun is only good against bosses without powerful firearm (or when they are knocked down, great opportunity for shotgun if you are close). But best overall weapon is the minigun imho. As soon as you get a few levels in the weapon skill, the damage per shot rises considerably and you can dominate bosses and mobs alike with the sustained firepower.
Good game, but the grinding gets a little annoying. $ 500,000 to unlock the final opponent? And we don't even know what for?
The high upgrade prices and 120 quests feel very much like artifical game extension beyond good measure.
It's fun, the bison is cool.....but not enough to do this 3642 times...
4/5
It is a great game in most aspects. I say most, because game turns vs danger increase is too unbalanced in my view. Too many monsters spawning everywhere while a whole day passes for every little move you make. I'm quickly losing interest after day 30, when it becomes a frantic, endless grindfest where it was once a superb strategy/action game. 3/5, and so much potential wasted....difficuilty adjustment/selection, better English and a little story, and I'd say: "best game ever!"
What? The documentation/ explanation of skills, items and units is sooooo horrible and shoddy, I cannot bring myself to like this. I like to know what I'm doing and buying, this game doesn't let me. 2/5
Good game, would really like a sequel with the following improvements:
1. better English - this is freakin horrible, gives you brain cramps at times!
2. better weapons balance, bazooka owns all, maybe limited ammo for the explosive ones, and a little more upgrade-effciency for the crowd-pleaser (shotgun) and bullet-hose (rifle/machine gun)
3. special missions/encounters/pick up items apart from the "splatter, cash-in and upgrade"-routine, maybe gathering resources like medicine, food, ammo, spare parts or other survivors who help you control your areas
4. a bit more brightness wouldn't hurt - day and night missions would be nice, too
5. a minimap or at least direction markes for mission objectives (we did our recon, now didn't we?)
I gave 4/5, and think you have a very good basis for an awesome sequel! Thanks for making and sharing a fun game :)
