...What bothers me is that people assume "Oh, Flash is gonna disappear after 2020!" instead of something more like what happened to Windows 7. It has not been explicitly stated that they are completely removing Flash. However, they will no longer support it, and when that happened to Windows 7, it never disappeared. it stayed where it was, and they recommend you upgrade to Windows 10, but you don't HAVE to. That doesn't mean Flash is disappearing, it likely means they will stop updating it, but it will still be there. Unless otherwise stated, Flash is staying around and not getting updates. Keep that in mind.
There is only one issue I find with this game and it is the fish being able to swim through rocks. Otherwise, really sweet and creative. Sure, it might be short, but the tutorial is nice, the level required boundaries are nice, and even the fish being pink if they harm you is nice. Only suggestion is to make the swordfish sell for more than the bass as you can spend as long as you want (or as long as the fish can spawn) catching bass but if you don't have the armor you might die really fast to swordfish.
Thanks for the feedback! Yea balancing the values was tricky for me in the beginning, but hearing people's comments definitely shows me what direction I could take. The bass do technically have more hp, so if you do have more armor, then the bass end up becoming more difficult to catch. You make a great point though as those swordfish will wreck you in the beginning. I'll certainly give this point some more consideration.
The reason I was able to beat the game in under 2 minutes is because the game let me use my mouse for the majority of the levels and I moved my mouse over the pipe until I got to level 28. I dunno how it happened but I'll take it. Either way, I guess urmomshott08 is better with his/her score of -65 seconds...
Yes, for some players more experienced in this style of play, or even for those who have repeated some levels the mission is completed instantly. Thanks for playing.
The only easy way to get gold is to do the kite flying mini-game. You have to use Reach the Sky, jump, and spam left and right propulsions. Alternate directions, and always make sure you're over the ground, not over air. You really need to grind this mini-game, though. I rated this very low. If they had gold for killing an enemy, or completing a stage, I would rate it a little bit higher.
I have a feeling (inside my bones) that someone could cheese this and use an autoclicker to their advantage and get a ton of money, then they could go the active route. I don't know if you have fixed this, but clicking with a trackpad can go really fast. Maybe (if you haven't already) you could make a sensor that tracks how fast you click, and if you click too fast you either lose money or cannot click for xx seconds. Really nice game, though! Keep up the amazing work!
Welp... I temporarily lost upgrading one of my employees when I unlocked pirates. I wish that the employee sprites were layered in front of the pirate ship sprites, and that you could interact with the employees.
I agree with everybody else, saying that we need some replayability. Other than that, this game is amazing, and I really enjoyed it. If a sequel comes out, I will gladly play it. (Even though I doubt that there would be a sequel, but it's possible.)
There's a lot less players now than there were a little while ago. Perhaps you could try to get this on another site for more players? I find this game fun unless I'm lonely...
Oh god... Where do I start with my journey... Well, I guess I could start with Act 4. It was a little challenging, but not that bad. Then... Then comes around an hour of my life with Act 5. It was sooooo painful... Acts 6-8 weren't bad. Then... Then I got to Act 9. It was really hard for me. I eventually beat it, then jumped out the window when I saw Vexation.
*sigh* Maybe having the P button pause the game, instead of being useless? It's really annoying trying to quickly pause to do something and dying because you can't use the P button.
