The artwork and more importantly the UI design is atrocious. Normally that doesn't really matter too much in a single person passion project, but this game has microtransactions, or in other words this is a product he is trying to sell. Just hiring some kid with a nick of talent for $10 would have been enough.
bug: If I keep spamming lesser heal as fast as possible I eventually end up not being able to cast any abilities. Just some times they go on cool down or work if they're instant cast. Hotkeys and clicking both stop working.
The tutorial seems horrible, first time it didn't even pop up so I restarted the game to make it work. Problem then was that there was what I assume to be the tutorial popping up, AND other random pop-ups with information which could have waited their turn. To top it of I couldn't do anything to progress in the tutorial (?) so I just x-ed it out and apparently that ended it. If the first 20 seconds of the game is this much of a clusterbum
Looks like you have a memory leak or something. Both in Chrome and Firefox I have gotten the error message "Out of memory. If you are the developer of this content, try allocating more memory to your WebGL build in the WebGL player settings." When finishing some maps.
NOT an RTS, please get rid of the tag.
The crafting system clunky, tedious, and almost completely random. No reason to have 5 different versions of every material just to have it not matter almost all off the time. It's just messy and frustrating. Also wood is underutilized.
The game is currently way to grindy. I currently have 13 spells, and getting any of them to a good level requires 30+ rounds of farming a level. This makes it virtually impossible to get to properly test what spells you prefer/change to the propper spell to beat a level.
Money (and this game overall) is even worse of a grind. I have been repeating levels over 150 times and I'm still constantly drained for money.
Buuut I haven't seen any micro transactions in this game so 5/5.
A lot of people have said the energy system was taken out of the game, but it looks like it's been put back in? Probably put it back when people actually started playing it, which is ironic because people was playing the game because you took it out. Everyone who has given you praise and upvoted the game because you took out energy(everyone) was just tricked into making you more money. Screw you.
What? If you see the energy, please, make a screenshot and send me via pm. If so - it is kind of wierd bug and we will fix it. Until then, please, refrain from unfounded abuses.
Way to clunky. A games difficulty shouldn't come from bad controls.
Trying to select a single unit out of a group often ended with giving all selected units a move command, often leading to deaths and frustration.
A solution to this would be some kind of selected units window like most RTS games have.
Not having a shif-click option to make a group of units that are not next to each other, but that I want in the same place, is also something I felt was missing.
Also, no hotkeying selected groups? Why? It's frustrating to have to select all archers to move back without accidentallly clicking the warriors every time.
Happy til the fifth to last lvl when it just slapped how to beat the level onto the screen. It takes time to untangle, bitch! Hate games that tell you how to figure a puzzle out without you asking it. It's like spoiling movies.
The levels are way to long, even on short mode it feels like I'm grinding it.
Just thinking about redoing a level in normal mode for getting 2 more skill points is enough for me to stop playing.
It's a shame though, the game would be really fun if not for that one flaw.
Ok game.
The game was to easy to be fun for my taste. I was never close to losing a level even when making random lines everywhere instead of paying attention.
Got all the upgrades way to fast (maxed before bosses) and some I felt were next to useless; healing didn't need to be upgraded because of the low cool down. Rock and bubble were identical and next to useless because recoiling rocks was the point of most levels.
Some upgrades and other kind of spells would have made it more interesting (like slow time, more and/or longer lines.)
With that beeing said, the game was pretty and had a fresh playstyle.
I can see effort has been put into this game, and the idea is great. 3/5
The whole money and shop system is useless, never really needed to buy anything. I even allready had the weapon I could get in the "secret wolf" shop, and even if I hadn't had it I could afford 4 of it or something.
Great game but not perfect.
The elementals couldn't have been more useless.
The game was really easy, with just a tiny bit of grind i started getting gold on the first try on every map from around level 12.
But the thing that really disappointed me was that there was no ending. The last level just sent me back to the map as all the others and i got some achievements, nothing that hadn't allready happen happend. Hell even a "grats, the end" and been better...
But even though I'm beeing a bitch im giving it 5/5 because I feel like it.
