I died because I slept on the battlefield. I tried sleeping before many times.. f that. If there is a way to sleep before the stamina runs out the game does a really poor job of explaining it
Matsui, probably a teeny tiny bit too late, but I could fix it by hitting the brick that once was in the gap eitehr with the gun or the body. hitting it again re-instated this weird bug
generally I liked it, but I had to stop playing. A day/night/cycle is a nice idea but it feels like 90% of the time it's so dark you can hardly see. Also, this would have really needed a map. the area is way too large for it not having one.
This is just a worse version of Wegatron, a really old but still great german game (older than this game by 10 years or so). Can't link it as the dev (mathesoft) does not have it on his website and all 3rd party links look fishy
needs checkpoints and better upgrades. with maxed fuel upgrades, you shouldn't run out of fuel in the kraken fight if you swam there pretty much directly
oh hey, I played through this plenty of times on steam, I never knew it came from a flash game. Great game (the steam version, haven't played this one ;)). Check out the steam guides, one of the best (*cough*) is from me!
below commenter is right. you should at least be able to upgrade the weapons more. Up until the last level I mainly blaed through levels on frentic because I went for weapons 5 tiers higher than the current one and was able to get homing missiles soon, but even with the best ship and fully upgraded homing missiles, it seems the last level is impossible to get perfect on because you just don't make enough damage
gets relly tedious after the first few "days". even max upgraded surge protection menas 17+ energy lost per half second for lower surges, pretty much guaranteed to drain your max leveled energy, even the fastest claw speed upgrade still feels really tedious when you have to wait several seconds for any gear you might hit to reel in. the diamite upgrades are wholly useless because dynamite is, and the magnet upgrades are only marginally better. if the claw speed upgrade actually increased the speed (it felt like it didn't), the magnet range at max would be enough that you could click anywhere on the screen to steer instead of only a fifth away from the hook, and if lower gears were more valuable, this game would feel more fun and less of a chore
make the autoseller at least twice as fast (twice as fast and selling doubly as much would be better) and make the base capacity at least 3 times larger and this might actually be fun to play.
I have the autoseller at lvl 48 and it only sells 200 or so each time it triggers.. while I gather easily 3 times as much in the same time span. As costly as later upgrades are, this means you either sit there for hours just clicking "sell" or you let it run for days for the autoseller to actually sell enough. Upgrading your miners won't help you, because the base capacity is also really small. I have mine at a level that the next upgrade would cost 2 million (which easily takes an hour or two) and it only stores such a pityful amount that it's filled in a few minutes mining. Upgrading miners would just mean it fills even faster
Better than part 1 but still way too grindy. Example: items that you could really use quite soon, like the teleporter, need high level ressources that you can only get after you upgraded half your ship parts to level 5. Which will not happen the first few hours you play unless you know exactly what you're doing
Day 75. Max depth reached 723. What kind of balance was changed in the reply to that upvoted comment? I can hardly see how it could be even worse. As soon as you reach a certain depth, you often have 2-3 energy-zapping towers on you at the same time, with a speed way too slow to escape them. What an utter grindfest
no wonder the extra quests are so horribly, they scale with your upgrades. Went back to go the very first quest on the very first level with my fully upgraded hero and did arguably less damage than the first time around, and losing half my health, which is probably4 times more than I had in the beginning. lame.
seems this wasn't made by the same dev. it shows.
no longer able to kill everyone if you do it carefully.
no longer able to jump over enemies in cloak.
instead of puzzles with enemies, you now have your standard unfair platforming.
etc
seeing as the first part is probably one of my favorite flash games, I am disappoint
yeah maybe it's because I program but holy shit I don't have the patience. I don't want to go through 40 levels of "just type what I already written to continue" before anything interesting happens. A "next" button would have been great.
