Please look into how tactics is calculated to increase. My tactics has been stuck at 151 since the first few dungeons, and I am on the last essence quests right now. I've done every normal and hard dungeon there is to do, I've also tried several harder ones following the notion from the Adventurer's Handbook that, "This bonus is improved when attempting to hit an enemy with higher skill than yourself." I find it hard to believe that the guys on hard level dungeons have lower than 151 tactics, therefore I must ask why does my tactics not increase? All my barracks units have around 1000 tactics due to their static level increases, so it's disappointing for my character to be more of a roadblock when doing defense quests, since it takes 3-4 turns for him to hit anything, making the insane level quests nigh impossible to complete. Please see what is wrong or at least give me a pointer as to how to raise tactics since melee combat doesn't seem to raise it.
Good night, am I the only one that has a retard ranger that can't hit the broad side of a barn? 95% seems like 45%... honestly out of 11 battles now, the ranger only hits 1/3 attacks and no, there haven't been any negative accuracy modifiers applied. It's just a standard sit-in-the-back-row ranger with a bow, but this is driving me nuts. Anyone know if this is a frequently occurring ranged combat bug? I know it's supposed to be random, but my warrior and barbarian have 95% and seem to hit at about that rate, so all I can deduce is there is another range combat penalty that isn't being visually shown in the game. Help me understand this!
Fun game, but just make sure you don't sell your weapon at the beginning thinking you'll have enough money to get a better one... had to restart because of this :P
This is a replay for the last part of competition #6.
