Level 37 is almost unplayable. The number of glitches is staggering. The energy ball goes through floors, and hits me when it clearly is nowhere nearby. Once, my character even dropped dead for no reason.
Great game, loved the upgrade system. I think it is too short though. Maybe make it take 20% to 30% longer to fix the balloon. I ignored traps, fort-upgrades (other than 1 turret) and just got a good machine gun and was done on day 3. I felt like you should have to rely on good strategic planning a bit more.
Made it to level 20-something and still didn't get the badge. Had to start over 3 more times until I got 'lucky' with the drops and got Ice resistance. Seriously, make a save option or something.
I hate this game. Now let me clarify, it is a great game, but I freaking hate it. Some minor issues bug me so much that I just can't get anywhere. I have done 4 play-throughs and each consecutive time I get crappier drops. Only two drops are appearing per level, and most drops are identical. 5 electric resistance boot drops in a row, 6 of the same sword. And in the higher levels (8-14) I had the same set of enemies every time. Maybe their are no more? Idk, but it just feels like I am re-playing over and over hoping to get lucky drops. I mean what is the point of tons of lightning resistance items when every enemy is fire/ice?
I feel like this game is more about luck than skill or planning. If you don't get enough supplies to transfer towns early on then you will never make it in time. Also, I lost survivors 3 times due to a running fat person with a weapon that appeared right as the fight starts. I have started over 4 times and still get screwed. It isn't a bad game, but this luck factor kills off any learning curve
