Reasonably fun for a bit, but cba to complete it due to the main gun only firing horizontally, money collection being a chore, and there not being enough room to maneuver/my hitbox being too large to actually avoid stuff.
The English is also atrocious, but for once that didn't really take away from my enjoyment of the game.
The whole battle thing doesn't feel like it belongs in this game at all. As an idler I think this game has a place, but fighting monsters requires too much work to fit with that. Which would be fine if it was interesting, but it isn't (so far). I hope you're thinking about ways to automate that, or make it more interesting in the next update.
I applaud any way for you to get paid properly for this game, but making people go to your site is not the solution you're looking for. I can not actually play the game there due to lag, so I have to just go there for activating artifacts. That gets annoying extremely quickly.
Another thing that keeps bothering me is that critical burst (or at least, the upgrade that increases it) isn't included in the dps calculation, which screws with the math.
A couple things that would make the game a bit better:
1) Remember my settings for sound and music when I come back.
2) Have an UI element show on the map if you've already earned the bonus level on a stage.
I enjoyed the game, but those things were kind of frustrating.
Awesome! Exactly what I was hoping for. One tiny bit of constructive criticism: Could you make it so spells stay on the hotbar after you wing out of the dungeon? It's only a bit annoying to set heal every time, but I can only imagine how annoying it will be when I get more spells.
I enjoy this game, aside from the forced playtime limiters that should really not exist in non-mobile non-mmo games. I know it's a port from a mobile game, but you could still just get rid of the stamina meter here and have a better game.
Anyway, it's a little bit sad to see things like "This core dice can't be swapped". Not because I want to swap it, but because it should be 'die' rather then 'dice'. 'Dice' is plural.
I'm using mouse control with holding c when I want to mark whitespace, and it is truly the best control scheme I've ever seen for this puzzle. So good job on that! Especially since there are a lot of options for controls for people with other preferences.
A few things I'd like to see:
Making an option to not cross off numbers automatically. While it removes some tedium, I consider keeping track of what groups you've finished to be an important part of the puzzle.
When you're coloring in whitespace and mouse over a pixel that is already whitespaced, it removes that. I'd like it if it can only add whitespace if the first pixel is filled with whitespace, while only removing whitespace if the first pixel has whitespace removed. If that makes any sense ;)
Either way, great job on this, great implementation of achievements/unlocks in a puzzle game and so many puzzles :)
Fun little game, but could you please find someone to spellcheck your games? I can live with a typo here and there, but when "Stuned!" flies across the screen every other fight, I really feel someone should have seen that before release.
I really like the challenges, they're a nice breath of fresh air in the genre.
Other then that it's just too grindy, lack of altitude meter is annoying and like most Berzerk games there's quite a few spelling mistakes.
I lost access to my premium summons, spells and equipment when badges were added. The items I had equipped are fortunately still there, but can't upgrade anything or use the spells/summons in battle.
This sort of game is really what I love, but in its current form it doesn't seem complete. The only thing you can permanently upgrade is health (and skills, but only so much), which seems a waste. I'd suggest to either add a permanent damage upgrade item or make every 10 crystal give you 1 extra damage or something like that. With a better progression this game could be a lot of fun, but now it feels like I'm not getting anywhere and I'm not even done upgrading all skills yet.
What kills me most is manuevering near the borders as one tick over the border and my plane beelines to the topleft corner, crashing through a dozen planes on the way. So long as that still exists, sadly the hardest stuff is not for me.
Just a heads up, the Glorious Disenchantment award appears to be bugged. I only disenchanted one item so far and just got it after doing a dungeon. I assume it counts all the crafting materials I picked up as well.
I assume you didn't know rather then actively hating on mac users, but CTRL can not be an input for flash on mac OS, so it's not the best choice for a button.
Having said that, I'm not too bothered, because this is just the same as those virusgames with a different theme that doesn't work quite as well.
Thanks for the feedback. It's on our list for an upcoming update.
