The dps numbers for the Hunter hero seems incorrect. She's currently 2 star rank, level 11 with maxed attack speed skill (200%). DPS is listed at 213.13T (equiped bow with 12.46M dps). Each hit deals just shy of 400T, and it does not look like she attacks once every 2 seconds, but rather closer to 1 attack per second. I haven't checked if the DPS displays correctly for the other heroes. Either it's a general display bug for all heroes, or I guess it could be linked to the attack speed skill of Hunter.
Well, that's not completely wrong. Hunter's attack speed doesn't affect her DPS. So her damage per hit decreases, but she can attack faster and kill the weak enemies without wasting too much of her damage. Some weak enemies can be killed with low damage, and it's better to clear them fast with low damage, not wating some heavy blows
It was fun to start with, but the lack of content after map lvl 15-20 or so made the game quite repetetive. The scaling of gold from mines are also WAY off the charts. As an example I was earning about 3-4O worth of gold from combat, but was earning thousands of OMG worth of gold from mines.
This game also stops being idle after around map 20, as you don't have to stop playing in order to farm. At first I did 1 round of unit upgrades, progress x amount of maps, do 1 round of unit production purchases, progress x amount of maps etc. I even had to bring out auto-clicker for the upgrades and purchaes. Having 50+ upgrades per unit got tiresome real quick. That's 100+ clicks per unit (health+damage), and 600+ clicks for all units. Not to mention about 50-80 purchases in each unit production building and 15-30 gold mine upgrades. You're looking at around 1k clicks just to spend all the money. At this point I just said screw this.
Would be nice to have greater control over population growth, so you can stabilize it a bit better. Currently approaching 3 million population, and for the last million pop growth or so, my population keeps fluctuating by tens of thousands. Makes it very hard to predict production of tools and cars while maintaining a healthy research force. And as someone else mentioned a way to fine tune pop. distribution. Maybe make default change of 1%, holding shift will change it by 10% and holding alt(?) can change it by 50%. Right now increasing my pop. distribution of tools from 90% to 100% results in a a change from -500 tool production to +5000.
I think a good research for population growth could be an adjustment of babies per household. Or just changing the fertility rate. Maybe do some reading on fertility rates for maintaining a stable population can give you some ideas for balance. ;)
Great game. I'd actually love to see a sequal with more upgrade, more weapons, different kind of ships, higher difficulty lvl (don't let magnets and speed stack etc), graphics engine upgradeable to better graphics (not that it matters much, just for fun). Overall very good game and fun to play, though a bit repetetive once you get all upgrades.
Completion date for me was infinity for me as well. Not long after everyone was dead...
Also for some reason (playing on realistic) I did not get the easy and medium awards :/
