2/5 The game is more or less rock paper scissors, trying so hard to be like pokemon, even with the uninspired writing that drones on and on. Oh and with the main core mechanic being click based grinding.
You wouldn't happen to be a single parent trying to connect with your kid would you? Because the dialogue from this game absolutely screams "out of touch parent trying to impress teen by acting how they perceive cool to be" from just about everything the main character says to how the voice actor delivers the lines.
1/5 feels like a stale catapult game trying to cash in on sushi cat name. Very few upgrades, game is depressingly easy, tried survival mode once, after 3k meters I had to start trying to fail on purpose just so I could be free of the game.
2/5 game seems solid so far, nothing special, but damn I am like 10 min in and this tutorial is so forced I -still- can't access the option menu to turn off the volume. I realize this is not always a common issue but I am multi tasking at work which really only consists of me responding to sound notifications, a bit hard when the game still wont let me toggle sound lol
i like the game, but it disgusts me when indie devs try to lock away content in hopes of getting donations from impatient people, instead of because their game warrants it. Was wondering why clearing an entire act wasn't even half the cost to unlock another character then noticed its because the morale is scaled low for that purpose....
once upon a time 3 years, i had a girlfriend who when upset, would want to go to parks and visit ducks. So one time I asked her "want to go punch some ducks?" and it became our inside joke to punch out and quak as if we were "duck punching". You sir....were so close at achieving perfection but fell short T.T
we get it, you just played portal and apparently think the crazed AI is totaly unique and unheard of. better cash in on that before...oh wait....everyone has been using that for a loooong time -.- 1/5 completely lacks originality, becomes unbearably laggy. its like that elephant level game thing with the AI from portal at 5fps.
1/5, can't tell if this is something you wish you had when you were younger, or a messege to your kid or what, but more forceful about your view than door to door evangelists.
so you know how no one likes it when (insert religion of choice here) crams their religion down your throat? Yah no one like's it when gay's cram their sexual preference down other's throat either. I'm all for open mindedness and equality but please have some dignity about it. Interesting game but the dialogue in between each level was more annoying than a life time special.
the story reminds me a lot of dead space except if you were a security guy instead of an engineer. It was an ok game but the arcadeyness of it really diminished the horror theme. I was about to give it a 3/5 for still being a solid game, then I got spread shot and the game became running around holding down spacebar being invincible which ruined the atmosphere even more. 2/5
interesting game, always prefer a child motivation over a forced, half assed love story. Nothing new unfortunately though as far as platforming, wish you would have at least given double jump a technology instead of it just falling out of a truck xD 4/5
Is it just me or were the original levels harder than the impossible ones xD eitherway I loved this game, other than the occasional directions getting stuck. 4/5
absolutely amazing, however I feel obligated to only give it a 3/5 as it is far shorter than a game of this quality and idea should be. I love the concept, the music, everything about it. But the lack of content really hurts.
shallow story, no skill or leveling system, each unit only has one use. This type of game has been around far too long for these things to be forgivable. See disgaea series, final fantasy tactics, front mission series. 2/5
yah i get that it was trying to be scarey, but like jenova said, completely over done, and the point system just makes it feel arcade-ish. It honestly just seems like a cluster f**k of you not knowing what kinda game you wanted it to be honestly. Not to mention since there is never any real danger, there wasn't any fear. Oh hm I just completed some occult summoning......and ghost skulls are flying at me......well as the game taught me.....camera?....no?.....k guess I'm done here lol 1/5 sorry bubblebox, I usually like your games.
