So people don’t see
The exact person
You try not to be

Eventually they’ll see
The person they fear
And the reason that caused this
Will eventually be clear

The person you’ve become
Is who everyone hates
No best friends
No acquaintances, no dates

Don’t change yourself
For anyone or anything
Be who you are
Because that person is everything
