I notice after an hour, it auto-starts survival mode.
I was still attempting to beat the level, so I just shoved more turrets to the front and kept plucking away for another hour... just one more relay...
Rather fun! I quite enjoyed it. The comments leave me questioning my rate of progress however... this only took me about an hour (52 minutes according to game timers) and I got in total 231 deaths... Maybe I'm just really good at this type of a game? Still, keep developing, I like challenges =3
This is very interesting.. in fact I downloaded it and ordered my friends to do the same!
However, your download version doesn't tell me something I'm interested in: It's not very specific at what features are specifically missing from the game, and while I'm certainly willing to donate to aid in the development of such an aspiring game, I'm a bit confused at what you're offering in return!
I am working day & night for making a super flash version of this game, with hundreds of new creatures & spells. In-fact I need support from all players. The thing which I will create will be 100% free to play. I will not keep any item in the game which will need anything from your pockets. I hope that soon you will be able to enjoy my new masterpiece.
48 hours huh?
This is great for the time spent on it.
I'd expect if you ever made a sequal (its good enough for one) that you'd include upgrades, or if at all possible, a storyline.
Think of Armorphous +, I'm speaking of with actual time for Developement making something along those lines for this game. You can certainly keep a concept very simple while making so much of it, and I think this game has the potential to do that with tweaking.
The game could use some improvement; in higher levels, it actually becomes easier to beat, due to being able to spam the duster litterally anywhere and probably hit a student.
Fixes to that would be to either have 'good' students that hitting causes penalties, a cooldown on duster throwing, a penalty for missing with the duster, or to also reduce the time students spawn for, in order to keep the student ratio at a decresing value in later levels, instead of an increasing one.
As for bugs, gameplay continues during the pause menu, if thats an overlook, or if thats intentional, I'm not certain, but I do know the timer stopped, but I continued to get points, while the game was paused, if I continued to play during the pause menu.
2/5, a good try, and a salvageable game idea if you put more work into it.
The yellow cannons in the middle sorta destroy the synchronization, due to the balls of its attack exploding in such a random way that they continue to fall for the remainder of the gameplay.
On level 34 my controls keep lagging, I'll run for like 4-5 seconds after I left go of A or D. Its very annoying to careen off a cliff or into a turret due to lag.
