I wish there were a way to reset awards, and only awards. I want to see how quickly I can re-earn all the awards with all the shiny toys I've unlocked in hardcore mode.
Good game, but it feels like there's too much grinding in the end-game for survival. Maybe a few more upgrades to help progression would improve that. Solid game, though, and a really fun concept. It just doesn't feel like it has a high replay value.
Also, I really wish there was some way to tune down the gummies I've already purchased. Example: turning off the propeller hats when hunting fat gummies would be perfect.
I wish there was some way to turn off purchased upgrades.... It would be great to be able to turn off the bounce-factor, for example, while you're trying to get the chubby gummy or cruiser missions completed.
I absolutely love the game. The game play is enjoyable and fairly addictive. My only request is that you get some indicator as to when the quake spell's effects are about to run out. That way, if you were trying to keep the towers shut down, you could hit them immediately so they don't even get one shot off.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, as I've only just started playing this game, but I believe it's impossible to cross the necessary areas and defeat the enemy in the six turns required to get the gold star for the first level.... Can anyone disprove or confirm that?
I'm rating this game a 5/5, although I think its flaws and not-the-greatest graphics make it a 4/5, because I think it has always been a fun game with great potential and needs more attention. I would love it if a sequel to this game was made, with similar game mechanics.
How the hell are you supposed to protect the family when their moronic father keeps rushing right into the line of fire? I wish we had control over how fast the alien ran. Otherwise, getting the badge for saving the family is completely based on luck.
Simplistic, but entertaining. The two nice touches I appreciated: The stick man's poses, which were mentioned in one of the top comments, but I also liked the Mario-esque jump pose. Second was that if you barely got into the gap, it says "Merely," in a red font. Just feels good to know the game acknowledges your frantic, last-minute leap.
Sometimes the gems get caught on the corners of blocks. If I'm standing on a block, and the gem is attracted to me, it'll slide up the side of the block, but once it hits the corner, it won't progress any further and I have to go to the very edge of the block to touch it. The way the gem gets stuck makes it look like it's just floating there, not even touching the block.
