I appreciate the Set An Order idea, but I wish there were a way to drag a particular type of enemy into an "Ignore" square. Like, I never actually battle the Hard Turtles because its stat gains are nowhere near good enough to offset the speed penalty. I dragged them all the way down to the end of the list, but it'd be easier to just remove them entirely.
@mothwentbad - Wait, you can what? *Checks* HOLY CRAP! Is this how it felt when the first people figured out that Player 2 in Duck Hunt can control the ducks?!
@meanie8 - I think the equipment bonus only applies to a newly-dispatched army. So once you make your upgrades they're applied to the NEXT fighting Trimp group, rather than applied to the current one.
There's really not enough gold to seed every building spot and upgrade them to a decent point. I'm not asking to be able to increase ALL the towers to level Max, but being able to push them TO the upgrade cap once in a while would be nice.
I have to say, yes, this is very similar to the Ace Attorney series. And I want to say that I have NO problem whatsoever with this. The game is very solid, a lot of fun, and dammit I feel smarter after playing it.
You know what I find shocking? I'm on like the 10th floor, and I haven't ONCE felt like "Ugh these people are forcing me to pay for the good stuff". The resources? Rare, but you can find them. For finishing a building? Eh, I'll just Rally, go to the Tower, and Rally again.
I feel like this game can legitimately be done for FREE. ^^ Thanks guys!
